ในการประชุมคณะกรรมการจัดงาน พิธีมอบรางวัลผู้ทำคุณประโยชน์ต่อพระพุทธศาสนา เมื่อวันที่ 15 มกราคม 2557 ณ สำนักงานพระพุทธศาสนาแห่งชาติ ที่ประชุมอันประกอบไปด้วย ผู้แทนสำนักงานพระพุทธศาสนาแห่งชาติ ผู้แทนองค์การยุวพุทธศาสนิกสัมพันธ์แห่งโลก และคณะผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ มีมติถวายรางวัลผู้นำพุทธโลก World Buddhist Outstanding Leader Award แด่พระภิกษุ และมอบรางวัลให้แก่บุคคลและองค์กร ผู้ทำคุณประโยชน์ต่อพระพุทธศาสนา

Venerable Phrakhrusamu Sanitwong Wuttiwangso, director of Communication Department and assistant abbot of Wat Phra Dhammakaya stated that on occasion of “Coronation Day”, Wat Phra Dhammakaya Tochigi collaborated with Dhammakaya International Meditation Center Tochigi to organize an ordination ceremony and a laywomen/laymen training program for the Japanese locals in order to spread the Buddha’s teachings sustainably for the public.
After Dhammakaya Temple had offered 250 Buddha statues to the temples in Bangladesh, Dhammakaya temple cooperated with many Bangladesh organization to arrange the 1st World-PEC contest in Bangladesh and it was successful. Yes! It is the first step of the real world peace.
องค์กรยุวพุทธสงฆ์โลก ก่อตั้งโดย พระอนุรุทธะเถระ เมื่อวันที่ 8 กุมภาพันธ์ พ.ศ.2547 ที่เมืองกาฐมานฑุ ประเทศเนปาล มีพระภิกษุสงฆ์ที่เป็นตัวแทนจากประเทศต่างๆ จัดกิจกรรมร่วมกันรวม 3นิกาย คือ นิกายเถรวาท มหายาน และวัชรยาน โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์หลัก คือ การสร้างเครือข่ายกลุ่มผู้นำขององค์กรยุวพุทธสงฆ์โลก เพื่อสร้างความสามัคคี เป็นหนึ่งเดียวกันในสถาบันสงฆ์และสังคมโลก โดยปราศจากการแบ่งแยกระหว่างนิกาย
ขณะนี้ การที่พระสงฆ์แบ่งออกเป็นกลุ่มๆ มีคำสอนที่ต่างกันออกไป จะทำให้การปฏิบัติยิ่งแตกต่าง ชาวพุทธก็ไม่ยอมปฏิบัติตามคำสั่งสอนดั้งเดิม หันไปนับถืออะไรต่างๆมากมายที่ไม่ใช่พระพุทธศาสนา ซึ่งดูแล้วไม่มีความหมายอะไรเลย ตอนนี้ถึงเวลาแล้ว ทุกคนจะต้องมาทำงานที่แท้จริง ด้วยการทำสมาธิร่วมกัน ถึงจะมีความหมายที่สำคัญต่อสันติสุขของโลกใบนี้
